Garden Fairies and Wizards beautify Spring Bayou celebrating Tarpon Springs past

The Garden Fairies help recreate a Tarpon Springs tradition

June 2nd & 3rd 2006 Tarpon Springs Water Sports & Illuminated Fleet Parade

One of The Garden Fairies missions is to help beautify the communities where we live.

Summer of 2006 we helped transform Tarpon Springs Spring Bayou, resurrecting the 1920's Water Sports Carnival. We considered trying to recreate a 40' floating Tarpon fish, but opted to be more realistic in our "doins".

Seen in this photo from "The St. Pete Times" are Garden Wizards Pete & Richard securing a sea nymph made by Garden Fairy Patti Bacun, part of the floating entertainment barge backdrop the Garden Fairies made. The Garden Fairies also created a 100 unique luminaries made out of Foster's beer cans and 100 large tissue flowers.
